"1411...still counting"

Hello Everyone....
What you think about the number above? Don't worry, the number is not picked from Shankuntala Devi's book. Well but i think, its surely a number which really makes our heads down in front of international organizations. "1411"- it's the number which defines total number of Tigers in India. And a biggest shame for India to watch losing its highest priority animal. The cause of putting ourself in this 'state of shame' is not just because the quantity is low, but also because the day will be soon when we with our own eyes will see our NATIONAL ANIMAL no where in India. It really makes me feel helpless, when i see that we as an individual or the government or we and govt both are sleeping in such a critical condition. We have 10 major national parks in india but still we don't really care about our wildlife environments. What makes me confused is- On what basis we are saying that- We are proud to be an Indian. Because the thing which really makes us proud are really the things which makes our image dull. I don't know- because everything that we have defined as our National Body-- they all are either in worst situation or are in a state of being endangered. Its now high time where we should put our luxuries down and start thinking about the counter steps to prevent the danger. Otherwise it will really be a shame for us and our country to loose our National Animal and making the headlines in the world media saying " INDIA- Loosing its National Animal, Now Searching for New Animal". So it's time to wake up guys....because its up to us to decide, how to decode this - "1411...still counting". Make it a plus and say still counting or be ready to say "1411...1000....511...110....4...3...2...1...". Last digit i won't say because i believe in hope...we can make it to 10,000+

What a friend can do?

I walk alone, in midst of the destination
Many people’s around, but still feels alone
Desires are many, but feels days are gone
I am a metaphor that links with parasites
Fed with absurdness, now wants simile of freshness
I walk alone, in midst of the destination.....

A hand of hope, helped me to grow
A relation unknown, becomes a gold
The fear to walk alone, now have many hands
Learned the omens of life, happiness only when shared
The barren path now, sings the voice of companionship
I walked alone, but now walks with trust
In midst of journey, I walk with many.......
